Part-Time RN Team Lead position in the Emergency Department. Night Shift 7pm-7am rotating pattern or set pattern optional. Minimum 2 years ED experience. Prior leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates shift operations including scheduling, assigned activities, and resources.
  • Serves as a technical or functional resource for staff and performs similar duties.
  • Assigns, monitors and reviews progress of work. Monitors and reports compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Oversees and evaluates orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
  • Oversees utilization and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment.
Required Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education and Experience:
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required
  • 2-5 years Emergency Room experience preferred
