What Will You Do?
As an Associate with Sacred Heart Health System-FL, you will
have the opportunity to provide direct nursing care in accordance
with established policies, procedures and protocols of the
healthcare organization. This oncology unit is fairly busy unit
with a very team oriented atmosphere, 39 bed unit with 5:1 or 6:1
patient to nurse ratio.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitors, records and
communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for
well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs
with members of the healthcare team.
What Will You Need?
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
(AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board
of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State
Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state
license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or
job transfer date.
Education:
- Diploma
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing
required
