Overview

Orthopaedic Associates of Reading, Ltd. has been providing professional orthopaedic treatment to the Berks County communities since 1979. The experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly staff is dedicated to providing the best available medical treatment in the most pleasant and comfortable manner possible.

Currently OAR is looking for an Orthopaedic Surgeon who is Fellowship trained in Hand and Upper Extremity

This practice is affiliated with Reading Hospital and the Providers within the Practice have Hospital privileges but are not employed by the Hospital.

Job Summary
  • Fellowship training/experience in total joint reconstruction
  • Provide Full range of orthopaedic services infants to seniors
  • Work life includes approximately 45% IP/OP surgery, 40% office and 15% administrative.
  • OR block scheduling at the Reading Hospital and Spring Ridge (ambulatory) Surgery Center
  • Call schedule is currently one in seven weekends and will change with each addition to the practice. Call schedule is supported by eight physician assistants who take the first call from hospital floors and ED as well as the answering service.
  • Call requirement is for The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, part of the Tower Health System
  • Office support includes additional PA s, 2PT s, 3 PTA s, 2OT s, and 1 OTA.
  • Office practice in new state of the art medical facility with eighteen exam rooms, fluoroscopy, MRI, Diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, occupational therapy, EMG s, NCS s, Urgent walk-in care and personal secretarial support.

Fellowship trained in Hand and Upper Extremity

Board Certified
