An exciting opportunity for an innovative individual who is looking for an academic career in a community hospital setting. Reading Hospital, part of the Tower Health System is the largest health care provider for women in Berks County Pennsylvania and the 3rd largest healthcare system in southeast Pennsylvania. Located just an hour and 15 minutes outside of Philadelphia, Reading Hospital embodies the best of an independent academic medical center while hosting subspecialty care in all aspects of OBGYN. The department of OBGYN fosters quality and safe care for the women of Berks County and surrounding areas. We perform over 3600 deliveries a year in our hospital facility and over 300 gynecologic procedures a month between our main operating rooms and are surgical center. We have affiliations with four regional medical schools and are part of the Johns Hopkins Clinical Trials Research Network. This past Spring, we announced a new relationship with Drexel University College of Medicine to open a branch campus. We anticipate class size of 50 to 60 students every year located at the Reading Hospital. Earlier this year, Reading Health System acquired 5 regional hospitals and became the Tower Health network. We now are a 6-hospital system extending from Berks County into Philadelphia.

Job Summary

Our FPMRS physicians provide the full scope of consultation services and comprehensive management of women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, lower urinary tract disorders, pelvic organ prolapse, and childbirth-related injuries. Comprehensive management includes the preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures necessary for the total care of the female patient with these conditions, complications, and sequelae resulting from pelvic floor disorders. They work in collaboration with our over 80 other department providers and serve as a referral source for our primary and tertiary care physicians.


Fellowship trained in Urogynocology.
